Creative Writing
15 Students

If you have a serious yearning to create poems, stories, and/or one-act plays, you will have a golden opportunity to create written works of art during this course. Students will be expected to write daily and writing workshops will be held weekly. In addition to a variety of readings, students will engage in creativity activities, consider the role of art in the world, and keep a journal of reflection. Equal emphasis will be given to both product and process and to the relationship of creativity to self-actualization. The overall goal will be to develop the creative thinking potential of participants, so they may become effective problem solvers in whatever field of endeavor they might strive to make a contribution.
