NSU Flight Team Joining:
  To become a team member of the Northwestern State University Flight Team, you must first satisfy the following requirements:
  • Must be currently enrolled at NSULA (Any Major)
  • Must be currently enrolled in at least 6.0 class hours
  • Must have less than 1500 hours of total flight time
  • Must not hold or must not have previously held an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
  • Must be willing and able to work hard & have fun at the same time
  • Must be a current brother, or pledge, of Alpha Eta Rho
  • To Fly in an event, you must have a Private ASEL

   There is no requirement for a team member to have any FAA certificates or ratings in order to participate on the team.  However, you must hold at least a Private Pilot ASEL certificate in order to compete in a flying event, this only exceptions to the rule is the navigator position  in the navigation event and the drop master in Bomb Drop.. We welcome people of all experience levels because the most important aspect of a prespective team member is a desire to win and have fun!
