Northwestern State University Foundation
The Northwestern State University Foundation was established
as a non-profit organization on May 20, 1960. The mission of
the Northwestern State University Foundation is to serve the
University, its students and its faculty, primarily through
financial resources raised and distributed by the corporation.
The primary objectives & purposes of the Northwestern State
University Foundation are to promote the educational and
cultural welfare of Northwestern State University, to aid any
student to continue his or her studies at the University, to
solicit and accept funds of all kinds for the purpose of
providing scholarships and activities in research or other
benefits for the University, its faculty and students, and to
exercise all powers and authority for the accomplishments of
the objectives and purpose of the corporation.
