Facilities

The art facility is among the best in the state. It features a Macintosh G5 computer lab, photo darkroom and separate photo studio, a traditional printmaking lab as well as a sculpture lab complete with a built-in bronze casting foundry. Students work in ceramic, painting and design studios structured for optimal teacher/student interaction. Seniors have semi-private studios and graduates have private studios.

Thanks to a grant from the Board of Regents, a new art history room and slide library are housed in the Fine & Graphic Arts wing of the Creative and Performing Arts facility. This instructional space includes state-of-the-art multi-media equipment and up-to-date furnishings to enhance the teaching-learning process. The classroom promotes the importance of Art History to the curriculum and benefit art students and faculty.
