Northwestern State University & Campus Living Villages
On-campus residential accommodations at Northwestern State University are comprised of three communities, University Columns, University Place, and Varnado Hall. All properties are managed by the University’s housing partner, Campus Living Villages.
IMPORTANT DATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

HOUSING ASSIGNMENTS FOR FALL 2014

*If you completed a lease for University Columns and paid the required deposit and fee, your bed has been reserved for you and your assignment letter will be mailed to you the week of July 28th.

*If you completed an application for University Place and paid the required deposit and fee, you have been assigned to a bed.  The week of July 28th, your assignment letter will be mailed to you. 

WAITLIST HOUSING APPLICANTS

If you completed the WAITLIST Application by July 24th, a bed is being held in your name at either University Columns, University Place or Varnado Hall.  A Housing staff member will be contacting you to discuss your assignment and to provide instructions on how to complete a lease and pay any required deposit.

STILL NEED HOUSING FOR FALL?

There are beds available in Varnado Hall.  If you need on campus housing for the Fall, please contact our office so that we may assist you.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • According to the Rules of the University of Louisiana System, an unmarried, full-time, non-commuting, undergraduate student is required to live on campus if space is available, unless exempt by the University for good and reasonable cause.   • On-campus housing is not guaranteed.  We encourage all students to APPLY EARLY as housing fills quickly.
  • Please note, applying for housing is a separate process from applying to the university
  • All students who reside on campus are required to purchase a meal plan through Sodexo Dining Services. For more information on Sodexho Dining Services, please click here
