Kenneth H. Green, Associate Professor of Percussion, Associate Director of Bands

Mr. Green is an Associate Director of Bands and the Associate Professor of Percussion. Mr. Green holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, NY, and Master of Music degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Kansas. Prior to joining the faculty at NSU, he served as the Percussion Instructor for the University of Kansas bands, Saint Mary of the Plains College, and as Assistant Director of Bands at Blue Valley North High School. A native of New York, Mr. Green has instructed several drum corps in the Northeast, and is now very active as a conductor, clinician, consultant, and adjudicator for numerous competitions and honor bands. He is currently a member of the Percussive Arts Society's Marching Percussion Committee, and Director of the NSU Drumline, Drum Major, and Auxiliary Camp. He has also presented clinics for the Innovative Percussion and Grover pro Percussion.
