Knowing and Sharing Your Creole History

Planned sessions on available resources, the importance of documenting and sharing your history, along with being a part of the National Creole Repository will be available.  Primary documents, ancestral images, Creole language recordings, community histories, are only a few of the treasures that need to be gathered and preserved for the generations that follow us.

Our Mission

NSU's Creole Heritage Center mission is to promote the study and understanding of Creole people and culture though research, education, and outreach.
