Make Use of Our Facilities and Services Although your studies take precedence, we encourage you to make time outside of the classroom to visit and make use of your university's facilities and services. We provide a host of outlets for your every need:
- Visit the WRAC to fulfill your physical fitness needs -- shoot hoops in the gym; challenge a friend to a game of racquetball; lift free weights or hit the weight and cardio machines; or join a class in aerobics, pilates or yoga; enjoy a game of golf or swim a few laps at the Recreation Complex; join an intramural sports team.
- Enjoy a peaceful walk on the path along Chaplain's Lake to clear your head and calm your mind.
- If you're looking for career guidance or personal counseling visit Counseling and Career Services or the Student Support Center.
- If your classroom assignments require research and you'd like a quiet place to study, look no further than our own Watson Memorial Library.
Get Active, Change Your World If you wish to make a change to your student environment we encourage you to get involved. One way to get involved is to join a student organization or gather people with the same interest and create your own student group, or join a fraternity or sorority. You can also get involved by attending the meetings of your Student Government Association. Another way to affect change is to make your voice heard by joining a student committee or, if your tastes run towards other forms of expression, you can try for a position on your college radio station or newspaper. If you're feeling adventurous you can apply to study for a full year overseas with our International Student Exchange Program.
