Purpose: To review academic and student administrative policies, advise the Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs on academic, student, and administrative matters, and forward recommendations concerning faculty merit ratings to the Provost Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.
The Academic Dean's Council meets monthly to advise the Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs on issues relevant to the University's academic colleges, libraries, and the Louisiana Scholars College.
