To Install the Virtual Machine for Internet Explorer:

If you cannot get the Virtual Classroom to load on your computer, you might need to download the Java Virtual Machine. 

Go to http://java.sun.com/getjava/index.html.

If the animated logo appears, you have the latest version of the Java Virtual Machine installed.  

If the logo does not appear, you will need to click on the picture to begin the installation.  The automatic installation will work with Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, Me, NT, or 98 and the Internet Explorer browser.  If you are not running any of those platforms, you will need to follow the manual installation instructions provided on this page: http://java.sun.com/getjava/manual.html.
