My undergraduate education was completed at Mississippi College and my graduate education at the University of Southern Mississippi. I am currently teaching in the BSN completion program located on the Alexandria Campus. I enjoy advising students and classroom teaching. My research interests are in the areas of Nursing History and education.

The endowed professorship will allow me to:

• enhance my nurse practitioner knowledge through continuing education.
• Enhance classroom and clinical instruction through resource materials and new equipment.
