At
the Office of University Recruiting, our mission is to
increase the enrollment of new students to Northwestern State
University both in quantity and quality. We provide the prospective
students with accurate information necessary to the admissions
and enrollment process and at the same time provide the public
with a positive image of Northwestern State University. SMART
(Student Marketing and Recruiting Team) was developed to encourage
Northwestern State University alumni, especially those out-of-state,
to assist with this mission. Our goals for SMART are as follows:
1.) To increase the enrollment of new first time freshmen
from out-of-state.
2.)
To increase the quality of enrollment of new first time freshmen
from out-of-state.
3.)
To provide the public with a positive image of NSU by providing
quality representation at out-of-state College Programs to
prospective students.
4.)
To increase Alumni participation from out-of-state for Northwestern
State University .
