Unit Objectives (2004-2005)
University Goal #1: To create and maintain a responsive, student-oriented environment.
Objective 1: Recruit and train staff members who are attuned to student needs and are prepared to meet those needs in a competent, professional manner.
Objective 2: Involving students in athletics and other programs that reflect the image of the university and continually obtaining input and feed back from those students to evaluate their role in maintaining positive image and strong student-oriented environment.
University Goal #2: To provide programs, services, and operations throughout the University of high quality and effectiveness.
Objective 1: To maintain athletic programs for students which provide opportunities for athletic and academic success.
Objective 2: To enhance image and reputation of the university through availability of quality programs provided by Office of Alumni and Development.
University Goal #3: To enhance institutional viability through effective enrollment management.
Objective 1: Create positive image of university through enhancement of recruiting activities by providing schoarship opportunities.
Objective 2: Maintain successful programs and scholarship opportunities for students that will attract more students to NSU and be a positive factor in retaining students.
University Goal #4: To promote economic development, community service, and an improved quality of life in the region.
Objective 1: Promote involvement in community and school activities by students, faculty and staff, which enhance economy and quality of life.
Objective 2: Creation of positive image of NSU through fund raising and supporting the initiatives of the university.
