Autrey "Chank" Baudoin

Storyteller

Mr. Autrey Baudoin is a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana where he lives with his wife, Alma. He is a retired air conditioning serviceman and a storyteller.

Autrey says, "I tell mostly Cajun stories and jokes that are associated with the two famous Cajun names of Boudreaux and Thibodeaux. As a child, I learned to tell stories from family members such as my grandparents and parents."

Mr. Baudoin has not presented his stories at any festivals, but he has shared them with the local community at meetings and at the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
