Graduate Council

 

The Graduate Council is the policy-making body for the conduct of graduate studies at the University. The responsibilities of the Graduate Council include establishing policy and procedure for the governance of graduate faculty membership, graduate curricula/coursework, graduate research and writing, graduate student admissions, assistantships and fellowships, grading procedures, and graduation requirements.  All graduate programs are represented on the Council, and graduate faculty within the programs select their representative(s) to the Council.

Meeting Dates and Times

 

The following dates have been scheduled for the Graduate Council Meetings for the fall/spring semester of 2007-2008. Meetings are set for 1:30 p.m. in the Roy Hall Conference Room. Please submit 13 hard copies of proposals to the Graduate School office no later than two weeks prior to the meeting dates. Also listed are the Graduate Council members for this academic year.
