NSU fraternities and sororities encourage involvement in campus activities among their members. Greeks are represented in every facet of university life and are a driving force in student government, student activities, honoraries, and service organizations. In fact, many of the organizations at NSU are led by Greeks. In addition, each chapter elects its own officers. As a leader, you have an opportunity to practice and gain skills that might well be one of the most valuable experiences of your college career.

By joining a sorority or fraternity, individuals are given opportunities to develop leadership skills that will be advantageous to your future. One way of recognizing students for their outstanding leadership potential is by inducting them into Greek honor societies. The three honor societies for Greeks which are currently active on campus are Order of Omega, Gamma Sigma Alpha and Rho Lambda.
