This type of modification will have to be made at NSU. As technology becomes more affordable, more NSU students will own technology. It is natural that they will want access. The current infrastructure - from facility level up - was not designed to handle the demands of the current NSU student. I don't believe a facility on the Natchitoches campus can scale as needed. The proposed systems by Deron would benefit many students now and more in the future. I believe the tech fees should pick up the initial investment, while the university step up and meet the recurring line charges. The amount mentioned is not a large amount of money for the systems that would be at the student's disposal.
