INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ADVISORY COUNCIL (ITAC)

November 14, 2001

The meeting was held in Russell Hall, Room 122 at 3:00 p.m. Dr. Tom Hall called the meeting to order with the discussion of NSTEP and asked Dr. Mark Thompson to update the committee as to the needs of the document. Dr. Thompson handed out revisions of the document. The objectives where assigned to different members and each were asked to prepare the necessary information for the December meeting. Dr. Thompson also informed the committee as to the accomplishments thus far.

Dr. Hall opened the discussion on the budgets for the Offices of Telecommunications and Electronic Learning. The student representatives spoke on behalf of SGA and asked these items to be tabled until they had time to review the budgets.

The Council also agreed to Dr. Jim McCrory representing ITAC in viewing of the Student Technology grant proposals.

The next meeting is set for December 5, 2001 at 3:00 p.m.
