NATCHITOCHES -Northwestern State University's Office of Electronic and Continuing Education will sponsor an ACT Prep Course beginning Saturday, Jan. 13.

The course will run on Saturday through Feb. 3 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Room 115 of Russell Hall. There is a fee of $179 for the class. Registration for the class does not include registration for the ACT exam.

This course will prepare students for all sections of the ACT exam including English, math, reading, science reasoning and writing. Preparation will be done using retired exams, giving students valid pre and post-test scores. The data will also be used to make sure that areas of need are addressed.

Students will review the necessary content and examine test-taking strategies to maximize their score improvements. The course materials include additional exercises for further review.
