NATCHITOCHES - The NSU Theatre will present the controversial drama "Agnes of God" March 25-28. Performances will be in the Loft Theatre in Room 209 of the Old Wing of the A.A. Fredericks Center for Creative and Performing Arts. Admission is free but is by reservation only due to limited seating.

In the play by John Pielmeier, a court appointed psychiatrist and a determined Mother Superior struggle over the fate of a young nun accused of murdering her newborn child.

The role of Agnes was double cast with Alaine Claire of Ruston and Amber Rhyne of Macon, Ga. alternating performances. Jessica Sondag of Lathrop, Mo. will play Dr. Livingstone and Crystal Francis of Natchitoches will play Mother Superior.
