NATCHITOCHES - An exhibition of paintings and photography by members of the art faculty at Northwestern State University will be on display in the upstairs gallery of the Orville Hanchey Art Gallery through Friday, Feb. 2.

The works include watercolors by Professor of Art Dr. Bill Bryant, oil paintings by Assistant Professor of Art Clyde Downs, acrylic painting and watercolors by Instructor of Art Brooks DeFee and photography by Associate Professor of Art Michael Yankowski.

Bryant is exhibiting "First Snow at Lamy," "High Road to Taos," "Road to Los Alamos," "Tierra Roja," and "Road to St. Elmo."

DeFee is presenting several works from his "Bikini Cycle." His works on display include: "Ben Grimm," "#27," "Terminal Retinal Impression," "#12," "She Rises" and "Los Alamos Drummer."

Works by Downs on exhibit are: "High Plains Variation #13 (Viridian Horizons), "oil on canvas, "Evening Sentinels," and "Variation #9."

Photographs on display by Yankowski are: "Backwater Refuge." "Back Door,"
"Shadow Boxes," "Water Dance," "Cotton Gin," "Water Lilies," "Seasonal Rest," "Pratt's Bridge," "Fishing," "Porch and Post" and "Line Dance (Chicken Jamboree)."

Admission is free and open to the public. The Hanchey Gallery is open weekdays from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
