NATCHITOCHES-The Northwestern State University Concert Choir will perform Monday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. Dr. Burt Allen is the conductor and Sean Snyder is the graduate conductor. Elena Bogaczova is the accompanist.
The program will include "Richte Mich, Gott" by Felix Mendelssohn and "Zigeunerleben" by Robert Schumann featuring sopranos Blaire Porciau and Sawyer Thomas, alto Kristian Gorr, tenors Shane Garner and Jamie Green and bass Matthew McMurray.
The Concert Choir will also perform "The Last Words of David" by Randall Thompson, "The Path of the Just" by Knut Nystedt, "De Gospel Train" arranged by David Schelat, "To Saint Cecilia" by Norman Dello Joio featuring baritone Hunter Jenks and "An American Hymn" arranged by Cecil Effinger.
