FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NATCHITOCHES - Northwestern State University's cheerleading squad brought home three trophies from the recent Universal Cheerleading Association's Collegiate Camp held at Southwest Missouri State University. NSU's mascot "Vic the Demon" was also named Most Improved Mascot.

Members of the squad include: Christy Roe of Baker, Laci LaBorde of Alexandria, Allison Tracy and Charlie Ryland of Pineville, Alison Landry of Lafayette, Courtney Berry of Leesville and Vicki Casanovas of DeRidder.

Other squad members are: R.B. Martin and Jeremy Shaw of Benton, Bart Miller of Basile, John Patterson of Mandeville, Landry Ducote of Deville, Keith Poche of Natchitoches and Chad Pyle of Baton Rouge.

Miller and LaBorde are squad captains. Rick Williams is the cheerleader coach
