NATCHITOCHES- Classes on two widely used Microsoft programs, Access and Front Page will be offered in March through Northwestern State University's Department of Continuing Education.

A course on Microsoft Access 2000 will be held Saturday, March 2 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. in Room 103A of Williamson Hall. The fee for the class is $50.

Students will learn how to start Access and open a database, use menus, tool bars and shortcuts, create a report using report wizard, create a form using the form wizard and create a table using the table wizard. The class will also include information on using the undo command and checking spelling, getting help from office assistant, how to copy and paste data and add, edit and delete records.

A course on Microsoft Frontpage 2000 will be held Saturday, March 9 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. in Room 103A of Williamson Hall. The fee for the class is $50.

Participants will learn how to use page editor to build a site, use text formatting and other formatting features. The class will also cover normal view and HTML view, navigation view to view your site, how to open, add and move a page, renaming and deleting a page and adding and viewing a folder. The course will also highlight useful tips.
