NATCHITOCHES- The Northwestern Alumni Association recently added a board member to its roster. Dane Broussard of Houston, Texas is the board's newest member.
Broussard, a 1985 graduate with a degree in business administration, is an intervention business manager for FMC Technologies, FMC Kongsberg Subsea, Western Hemisphere. The company is a leader in mission-critical technology solutions for the energy, food processing and air transportation industries. His responsibilities include business growth for integrated intervention tools and services. He also modifies strategic business plans as well as marketing and sales presentations.
Broussard also maintains a close relationship with his alma mater and fellow alumni.
"I have been fortunate to maintain relationships with many Demons in the 15 years since my graduation," said Broussard. "For those that have not, I pledge to reach out and assist Chris Maggio in increasing participation of alumni in all alumni events."
Broussard sees the importance of the continued growth at Northwestern.
He believes that alumni play a necessary role in that success.
"I am very excited to have the opportunity to play a proactive
role in continuing NSU's success at involving our alumni in making
NSU the best place for prospective new students," said Broussard.
"My focus will be on involving alumni in recruiting top-notch
talent from outside the State of Louisiana. I look forward to
calling on alumni of my and other generations to spread the word."
