NATCHITOCHES Ten current or incoming Northwestern State University students have been selected to be members of the 2005-2006 Demon Dazzlers Danceline.
Those selected were: Hannah Bacon of Basile, Corina Harwood and Emily Perse of Libertyville, Ill., Kimberly Wheeler of Montgomery, Texas, and Christon LaCour of Pollock.
Also selected were: Brandi Guillory and Allie Martin of Natchitoches, Jessica Gajeski of Columbia, Brittany Shope of Plaquemine and Danyelle Laurent of DeRidder.
The Demon Dazzlers are an auxiliary unit of the Spirit of Northwestern Marching Band and perform at NSU football and basketball games, the Miss Northwestern-Lady of the Bracelet Pageant and other events throughout the year. All positions within each group come with a scholarship starting at a minimum of $500 a semester.
