NATCHITOCHES - Classes on AAPC certification, birthing and computing will be offered in June through Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education.
An AAPC Certification Exam Prep Course will be taught in Shreveport on Mondays from June 2 until Aug. 11. The class will be from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at NSU’s Nursing Education Center at 1800 Line Ave. in Shreveport. The cost of the class is $800 plus $335 for books.
A session of “Birthing Naturally Intensive” will be on Saturday, June 7 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at a site to be announced. The fee for the class is $49.
“Publishing with Pizzazz!” will be held on Saturday, June 7 from 9 a.m. until noon in Room 113 of Dodd Hall. The fee for the class is $45.
“Microsoft PowerPoint” will be taught on Saturday, June 7 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. in Room 113 of Dodd Hall. The fee for the class is $45.
“Basic Floral Design I” will be offered on Saturday, June 7 through June 21 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. in Room 203 of Russell Hall. The fee for the class is $200 plus a $100 supply fee.
The Louisiana Retail Florist Exam Prep Course will be offered twice in June. The first session will be held on June 7 and 14 from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in Room 203 of Russell Hall. The lab will be on June 9-13 and 16-20 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Sweet Events at 128 B South Drive in Natchitoches.
The second session will be held on June 21 and 28 from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in Room 203 of Russell Hall. The lab will be on June 23-27 and July 7-11 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Sweet Events at 128 B South Drive in Natchitoches.
The fee is $749 plus an $899 textbook and material fee paid to the instructor prior to the start of class.
