NATCHITOCHES-Northwestern State University will hold its Fall Commencement Exercises Friday, Dec. 20.

At 10 a.m., graduates from the College of Education, College of Nursing, College of Liberal Arts and the Graduate School will receive diplomas. Graduates from the College of Business, College of Science and Technology, Louisiana Scholars' College and the University College will receive diplomas at 3 p.m.

Individual college recognition ceremonies will be held at 11:30 a.m. All graduates and their families are invited to a reception at the NSU President's Home at 1 p.m.

The commencement speaker will be Casey Crowder, Miss Louisiana 2002. Crowder, an honor graduate of Northwestern, is a pharmaceutical representative for Eli Lilly & Company.

Northwestern will also award an honorary doctorate of humane letters to outdoor writer, author, television host and producer Grits Gresham of Natchitoches.
