NATCHITOCHES-A film makers workshop will be offered by Northwestern State University's Office of Continuing Education on July 19-20. Class time is July 19 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and July 20 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The fee for the class is $375.

The course is designed for the person who wants to pursue film making as a career or to learn more about the latest technoligical advances in film making. At the end of the workshop, students will be given the opportunity to write, direct and shoot a short film which will earn them a certificate of certification.

Ed Barham and Michael T. Campisi are the instructors.
