NATCHITOCHES- Malcolm E. Maddox of Monroe and Robert W. Manning of Waterproof have been named to the NSU Foundation Board of Directors.
Maddox, a 1971 graduate of Northwestern State University in business administration, is regional chairman of Hibernia National Bank/ Northeast and Central Louisiana region. Maddox is involved in community and civic activities, holding leadership positions in the United Way of Northeast Louisiana, Rotary Club of Monroe, Ouachita Valley Council of Boy Scouts of America, YWCA, First United Methodist Church, Twin City Art Foundation, Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Ouachita Economic Development Corporation.
He is married to Linda Maddox of Monroe, who teaches kindergarten at Lexington Elementary School. He has two daughters.
Manning is president of Webb Cotton Company, Inc. located in Ferriday. He is married to Barbara Finlay Manning of Waterproof. The couple has a son and a daughter.
Manning graduated from Northwestern with a bachelor of science degree in 1948. Barbara Manning earned a bachelor's degree from Northwestern in 1950.
The Northwestern State University Foundation is a non-profit corporation responsible for assisting areas of the university not supported by state dollars. It was established to serve NSU, its studentsand faculty by raising funds for endowed scholarships, professorships and chairs.
