NATCHITOCHES-Northwestern State University's Class of 1953 will celebrate their Golden Jubilee May 9-10 in Natchitoches. Members of the class will gather at their alma mater to reminisce about the good times and friendships formed during their college career.

Members of the class will enjoy lunch and a bus tour of the city and before Friday's 3 p.m. commencement exercises where each member of the class of 1952 will again make the commencement walk to receive their 50-year diplomas.

On Saturday, members of the Class of 1953 will be inducted in the "50-Plus Club," as part of the group's annual luncheon. The luncheon will be held in the Friedman Student Union ballroom.
