NATCHITOCHES The Louisiana Scholars' College at Northwestern
State University will host Dr. Anne-Marie Gronhovd, professor
of French Literature, Gustavus Adolphus College, who will be speaking
on "Proust and the Ambiguity of Sexuality," at 7:30
p.m. Monday, March 13, in Morrison Hall 227-230 (Scholars' College).
The lecture is free and open to the public.
Dr. Gronhovd's research and writing interests include twentieth
century French literature, particularly Marcel Proust and French
women writers, post-modern theory with an emphasis on Michel Foucault's
History of Sexuality, and Algeria as a land of exile. Her book
Du cote de la sexualite. Proust, Yourcenar et Tournier
was published in 2004.
