NATCHITOCHES - A Society for Human Resource Management Certificate Prep Course will be offered by Northwestern State University's Office of Continuing Education beginning Saturday, Feb. 10. The course will be taught on alternating Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. through May 19 at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish at England Airpark. The class had been scheduled to begin Jan. 13.

The fee for the class is $745.

The course provides an in depth study of key areas in human resource management. Course materials cover the areas of strategic management, workforce planning and development, human resource development, total rewards, employee and labor relations and risk management.
