NATCHITOCHES -A Society for Human Resource Management Certificate Prep Course will be offered by Northwestern State University's Office of Continuing Education beginning Saturday, Jan 13. The course will be taught on alternating Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. through May 19 at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish at England Airpark.

The fee for the class is $745, which includes a Society for Human Resource Management information binder.

The course is designed for managers who need to know basic human resources concepts before disciplinary action is required and the Human Resources department has to get involved. The essentials of Human Resource Management Certificate Program is also for those who want an overview of areas outside their current specialty or for newcomers who want an overview of the entire field.
