FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NATCHITOCHES -Northwestern State University will host the annual fall meeting of the Louisiana Deans of Arts, Sciences and the Humanities Oct. 17-18.
Dr. Sally Clausen, president of the University of Louisiana System, will give the keynote address Wednesday evening.
On Thursday, sessions will discuss "The Impact of the Blue Ribbon Commission on Louisiana Teacher Preparation" and "The Louisiana Legislature and Higher Education Evolution of Pay Plans for University Faculty and Administration and prepare for upcoming meetings.
Dr. Bob Lumpkins, coordinator of NSU's PK-16 program, Dean of Education Dr. John Tollett and Dr. Betsy Cochran, director of the Louisiana Scholars' College, will participate in the sessions.
