NATCHITOCHES A concert, "A Festival of Praise - Gospel Fiesta 2001," will be held at Northwestern State University Sunday, Oct. 21 at 5 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.
The concert is sponsored by Lifted Voices, a choir at NSU. They will be joined by choirs from area churches and other collegiate choral groups.
Lifted Voices rehearses twice weekly and is active in the community. The choir performed recently at a city wide gospel concert and has made contributions at the Memorial Services for the victims of the Sept. 11 attack on New York City and Washington D.C. at the Downtown Riverbank in Natchitoches.
