NATCHITOCHES -Trio de Llano will present a recital on Monday, Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall and on Sunday, Sept. 17 at First Presbyterian Church at 114 Bienville St. in Natchitoches. Both recitals are free and open to the public.

Trio de Llano includes Dennette McDermott on flute, Malena McLaren on clarinet and Douglas Bakenhus on bassoon. They will perform works by Eler, Schuulhoff, Piston and Jindrich Feld. The trio visited with Feld earlier this year while on tour in the Czech and Slovak Republics. Feld has adapted an older work for the trio who will premier the work at the Sept. 11 performance.

The trio will also perform at the University of North Texas on Friday, Sept. 23. McDermott and McLaren are alumna of the University of North Texas.
