NATCHITOCHES-Ashley Lynn has been named to the staff of the Office of Admissions and Recruiting at Northwestern State University. Lynn will focus on attracting students from east Texas, south Arkansas and west Mississippi to Northwestern.
Lynn was a customer service representative for Mid South Roller, handling new accounts and working with existing customers.
She also worked as a marketing coordinator for Big Sky Beef, LLC in Raleigh, N.C. Lynn was responsible for marketing, sales and promotional activities for the company. She coordinated Internet promotions on the company's Web site, assisted in the concept, design and production of all sales and marketing tools including ads, promotional flyers and gift giving brochures. Lynn also managed promotional activities with professional and collegiate sports teams.
A graduate of Arkansas Tech University, Lynn earned a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. While at Arkansas Tech, she produced and anchored a live noon and evening newscast. Lynn was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority and the university's nationally ranked cheerleading squad.
