NATCHITOCHES-The Northwestern State University Academic Advising Center is hosting a Majors Fair, Thursday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Friedman Student Union Ballroom.

The Majors Fair is an opportunity for all students with undecided majors to see the variety of majors offered at NSU.

Tracy Bison, academic advisor in the University College at Northwestern, encourages all departments to set up displays and faculty, staff and deans of those departments are encouraged to attend.

"It makes a huge difference for the students who are deciding between majors to actually meet the deans, department heads and faculty," said Bison.

Also, representatives from Northwestern's ROTC program and the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance, which administers the TOPS program, will be there to talk with the students.

Refreshments will be provided for the faculty and door prizes will be provided for those students who attend.
