NATCHITOCHES- The Student Government Association at Northwestern State University along with the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a forum involving the candidates for mayor of Natchitoches Thursday, Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ora G. Williams Studio (Room 142) in Kyser Hall.

The 90-minute forum will feature the two candidates for mayor, incumbent Wayne McCullen and John Winston. Attendance is by invitation only. The forum will be telecast live on NSU 22 (Cox Communications Channel 22 in Natchitoches) and broadcast on KNOC-AM (1450).

Natchitoches Parish Clerk of Court Louis Bernard will be the forum moderator. The candidates will be questioned by three panelists to be selected.

The election for mayor of Natchitoches is Tuesday, March 9.
