FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NATCHITOCHES - The Office of Electronic and Continuing Education at Northwestern State University announces non-credit short courses that will be held in April and May.
Healthy Ways with Herbs will be offered from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, April 4. The fee is $25. Joyce Davis will be the instructor. A location is to be announced. The class will be repeated from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 16.
A Notary Public class will be offered from 6:30-8 p.m. every Monday April 4-May 16 in Room 218 of Russell Hall. C. Rodney Harrington will be the instructor. The fee is $100 plus optional $50 workbook fee.
Taking Better Family Pictures will be held on Tuesdays April 5-19 with one Saturday meeting on April 16. Classes will be from 5:30-8 p.m. on Tuesdays and 9-11 a.m. on Saturday in Room 218 of Russell Hall. The fee for the class is $45. Dr. Ron McBride will be the instructor.
A class in Basic Grant Writing will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 9 in Room 217 of Russell Hall. The fee is $125. Instructor will be Bettye Ludd.
A class is MS Powerpoint-Level 1 will take place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 in Room 103 of Williamson Hall. MS PowerPoint-Level 2 will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21. MS PowerPoint-Level 3 will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27. The fee is $45 per class or $100 for all three sessions.
MS Access-Level 1 will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4 in Room 103 of Williamson Hall. MS Access-Level 2 will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5. MS Access-Level 3 will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11. The fee is $45 per class or $100 for all three sessions. Instructor will be Sharon Laycock.
