NATCHITOCHES-The College of Nursing at Northwestern State University will hold an informational program in Shreveport Thursday, Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. The program will be held at Northwestern's Nursing Education Center at 1800 Line Avenue.

High school seniors from Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Red River, Sabine, and Webster parishes are invited to learn about NSU's programs in nursing and radiologic technology. Financial Aid information will also be available.

Northwestern's nursing program is fully accredited and is one of the most respected in the south. NSU was the first public university in Louisiana to offer a baccalaureate program in nursing. Graduates have a high placement rates and have gone on to successful careers in a variety of health care settings.

The radiologic technology program is one of only 27 in the United States. The program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology.
