FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NATCHITOCHES - An international conference on French colonial pottery in North America scheduled to be held Sept. 21-22 at the Paragon Hotel in Marksville has been postponed. The conference has been rescheduled for March 2002.

Co-sponsors for the conference are Northwestern State University, the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe, The Cane River Creole National Historic Park and the Louisiana Division of Archaeology.

Scholars from throughout the United States, Canada and France are scheduled to attend.
