FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NATCHITOCHES- Tickets are still available for the musical comedy Nunsense which will be presented by the NSU Summer Theatre July 31-August 3 and August 5-10 in the A.A. Fredericks Auditorium. The opening night performance on Thursday, July 31 is sold out, but tickets remain for the other performances.

Tickets are $20 for dinner and the show. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with curtain time at 7:30 p.m.

Nunsense, written by Dan Goggin, is a musical hit that won the Outer Critics' Circle awards for best Off-Broadway musical and for Best Book and Best Music. Nunsense is a hilarious talent show staged by five survivors of the Little Sisters of Hoboken nunnery, after the rest of the sisters died from food poisoning after eating vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia, Child of God.

The remaining "Little Hobos" parade their talents at a variety show staged to raise funds so that the last four of the dearly departed can be buried. Nunsense offers a cornucopia of hilarity for the whole family, proving conclusively that nun rhymes with fun.

Nunsense is directed by Scott Burrell. For more information, call (318) 357-6891.
