NATCHITOCHES - Northwestern State University's Office of Admissions and College of Nursing are hosting a program for high school students and parents Thursday, Feb. 22. The program will be at NSU's Nursing Education Center, 1800 Line Ave. in Shreveport.

The program is for prospective students and their parents in Caddo, Bossier, Claiborne, Desoto, Red River, Sabine, and Webster parishes. The program will provide students the opportunity to explore Northwestern and learn about financial aid, student scholarships, nursing and other academic departments.

Registration and an open house will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a general assembly and orientation at 6:30 p.m. The program will also include resentations by the nursing and radiologic technology progams along with an opportunity to visit with representatives of other programs.
