FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NATCHITOCHES -The NSU Opera Theatre will present a concert, "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves" Nov. 10-11 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. Michael Rorex will direct the ensemble.

The program will include works by some of the greatest conposers of opera in some of the "bad guy" and "bad girl" arias from Carmen, Il Trovatore, The Old Maid and the Thief, The Elixer of Love and Faust.

The ensemble will also perform pieces from musicals including Don't take Much from The Life and Whatever Lola Wants from Damn Yankees.

Those performing are Bonnie Gordon, Whitney Sanders, Tony Stewart, Cara Waring, Sherman Desselle, Blaire Pourciau, Rachel Ellison, Ford Hauser, Brandon Jenkins, Brittany Taylor, Jessica Foy and Jamie Green.
