NATCHITOCHES -Twenty-three students and three faculty were recently inducted into Northwestern State University's chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at the chapter's recent spring initiation ceremony.
Phi Kappa Phi is an interdisciplinary honor society which elects members based on superior scholarship and character. The motto of the Society is "Let the love of learning rule humanity."
Those inducted were Demarquis Reshard Hamilton, Jamie Louise
Cherry, Lindsay Renee Maggio, Amelia Nicole Sepulvado, Daniel
Allen Bailey, Kathryn Viola Magana, Melissa Kaye Robinson and
Jennifer D. Ward of Natchitoches, Lana Greavu, Lindsey Michelle
Hampton and Robert E. McKay of Leesville and Lisa Noel Rachal
of Robeline.
Also inducted were Roxanne Erwin of Winnsboro, Dane Clayton of
Lacassine, Sadie Elizabeth Wintersteen of Warrenton, Va., Robin
E. Williams of Sulphur, Allyson Nicole Neely of Longview, Texas,
Ty Marcus Lege of Erath, Jodi M. Rinchuso of Greenwood, Victoria
Lynn Poellnitz of Shreveport, Janet Lee Murray of Oil City, Ann
Elizabeth Gaarder of Arlington, Texas, and Stacie Meshell of Zwolle.
Also inducted were Northwestern faculty members Paula Furr,
Julie Kane and Barbara Diane Webb.
