NATCHITOCHES -Three beginners photography courses will be taught at Northwestern State University beginning June 20. The classes on digital photography, wildlife photography and nature photography will be offered through NSU's Office of Electronic and Continuing Education.
The class on digital photography be on Tuesday, June 20 while wildlife photography is set for June 27 and nature photography on July 11. Each class is from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at a site to be announced. The fee for each class is $35 or all three classes can be taken for the same price of $35.
In the digital photography class, participants will learn about photo composition, photo editing, printing, e-mailing pictures and more.
Wildlife photography will teach those in the class the importance of patience, how to have the best chance of being in the right place at the right time and where to find wildlife on public and private land.
Nature photography will cover landscape, flower, forest, waterfall and insect photography along with the proper use of special lenses and filters.
