NATCHITOCHES -A class on digital and film photography for beginners will be held in Many on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Sabine Parish Council on Aging in Many. The class is offered through Northwestern State University's Office of Electronic and Continuing Education.
The fee for the class is $39 per person.
This is a class for people who have a digital or film camera and are interested in taking better photographs. In this class participants will learn how to use available light, the proper use of flash, use of lenses and how filters can give your pictures an exciting new look. Those in the class will also learn how to shoot sunsets, get good photos on overcast and rainy days, how to shoot night photography, get good pictures of your kids and grand kids, where to find good books on photography and which photo magazines are best for your favorite type of photography. Participants will also learn how to find information about photography on the world wide web, how to use your photographs to make gifts for friends and family and much more.
