NATCHITOCHES Courses on PowerPoint and using herbs will be offered later this month by Northwestern State University's Office of Electronic and Continuing Education.
The classes on PowerPoint will be on April 20, 21 and 27. Each class will be taught by Sharon Laycock from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in Room 103 of Williamson Hall. The fee is $45 per class or $100 for all three classes. A basic course of PowerPoint will be presented on April 20 with the intermediate class on April 21. The advanced class is scheduled for April 27.
"Healthy Ways with Herbs" will be presented on Saturday, April 16 from 9 a.m. until noon. The fee for the class is $25. The class will teach participants how to become more confident in herb usage for health and wellness.
